An in-store appearence for The In? the night before the big CD release party. We played an hour long teaser set up on the platform in the Jazz section. Duke Ellington to my right and John Scofield to my left. There was a new fan who’s name eluded us, however, his mother was Ella Fitzgerald and his fater was Lenny Bruce or something like that. He told us Dan Akroyd was there and had other magical stories as well which we came to find out were all false. That’s OK though, because we really don’t expect honesty from anyone except the RFT.
